This is the number I always call. I just called them last friday and it was in Reno though.

Yes, I live in Reno as well. That is the exact number that I called. Last Thursday, call went directly to the Washington office and the lady told me that the Reno office were closed last Thursday and Friday. If you were able to get a hold of Reno office on Friday, then the lady at the Washington office is not being truthful.

Today, I called again as she suggested last week when I called her. The lady at Washington office answered the call again after I dialed the Reno number. She said Reno has not entered my PRF yet. I will drive today to their office and drop off my form in person. Thanks for your help!

Okay, I think driving there will be your best option. Good luck and keep me posted. :)

I got the following email just when I was about to leave. Did your caseworker have to contact you after you filled the privacy form or is this a signal that they will call USCIS on my behalf?

“We have received and processed your paperwork. You should be hearing from your caseworker regarding your issue soon. Have a great day, Office of Senator Jacky Rosen, Northern Nevada”

Someone will call you with a 775 number (case worker) probably tomorrow or the next day.

Thanks again for your help everyone. After Sen Rosen’s office nudged USCIS, I finally received an email. I believe I was supposed to receive the email below shortly after I called last month when I called to expedite but I just received it now. I probably would have never heard back from USCIS had I not contacted a member of congress. I faxed them what they are looking for today and sent a thank you note to the senator’s office. I told the senator’s office to keep following my case until it is approved.

Question: My job offer will be revoked on Oct 29th if I cannot prove I-9 eligibility through E-verify. How long does it take to get a Social Security after the expedite is approved? Also, how long will it take to get the EAD after expedite approval?

“Upon receipt of your request for expeditious handling, your case was reviewed and a determination was made that we need additional information to make a decision regarding your request.  Please fax proof of your financial loss, such as proof of a pending job offer, to the following number:  816-251-2290, Attn: LA0009 Div5 Tm2. Please include this notice with your fax. Documents should be submitted with an official letterhead.”

Is that a confirmation from Sen. Rosen's office or that is USCIS advise to fax your supporting documents? It's been 10 days since my expedite has been approved. No update yet on my EAD approval.

Hi there. That is the email directly from USCIS. When I called on Sept 3rd to request expedite, the USCIS agent told me they would review my request and would get an email within 48 hrs giving more instructions. I never received that email until I contacted Sen. Rosen’s office.

Does your job offer have an expiry date? Please keep us updated on when you will get the EAD.

My start date will be on Oct 11. I've been in contact with USCIS to see if they created an RFE or sent me an email to submit evidence but they said my expedite has been approved and they are only waiting for the officer to give final decision on my case. It's been 10 days with no update. I've seen people getting updates after 14 days of expedite approval. February filers are also getting their EADs so I'm not quite sure if my expedite will still be processed as I'm March filer

That’s great news! So happy for you! 👏

Can you please share below so that I can manage my future employer’s expectations:

1. When you called the Senator’s office, did USCIS already contact you prior to show proof? Or did USCIS only contact you after Sen Rosen’s intervention? USCIS only responded to me after Sen Rosen’s intervention last week to fax proof which I did send last Friday. I’d like to know when I can expect to hear back from them after sending them the proof of job offer last week.

2. After the Expedite approval letter notification email, it seems that you waited another 10-14 days until “new card being produced” status, correct?

I have until October 29th to get my EAD or the offer will be rescinded per the terms of the letter. Thanks!

1. When I called the senator's office I provided the job offer to them and the authorization form. My case worker did the inquiry on my behalf. 3 days after the intervention, my expedite was approved and no RFE was issued to support my claim. Probably because I sent my job offer to my case worker and they are the one that provided it to USCIS.

2. My expedite was approved 09/21 then after 13 days, the status updated to "new card being produced"

To the people interviewing before being allowed to work in the US - job applications usually ask if you're authorized to work in the US. How do you get around this in order to get the interview?

I assume you say you're authorized, then tell in the interview that you're getting your authorization soon? But asking to get any advice...Thanks!
