Report: Mark Milley Told Military Officials Not to Take Orders After Capitol Riot

According to Peril by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, Milley was worried that after the January 6 Capitol breach, Trump could “go rogue” and called a secret meeting on January 8 with senior military leaders.

During that meeting, Milley instructed senior military officials in charge of the National Military Command Center to not take orders from anyone unless he was involved, according to a write-up of the book by CNN.

“No matter what you are told, you do the procedure. You do the process. And I’m part of that procedure,” Milley told them.

“Milley considered it an oath,” Woodward and Costa wrote.

The book also revealed that Milley had two back-channel phone calls with China’s top general to reassure him that the U.S. would not attack, even promising to give him a heads up if it did.

Wouldn't that be... treason?  Or perhaps subversion?

Conspiracy against an elected government....subversion..... He was planning a military coup....plain and simple.......that is serious stuff.  Both Milley and Pelosi need to be removed from office immediately.

I agree.  What they did was a thousand times worse than ANYTHING Trump ever did.  But alas, nothing will happen, because... apathy among the majority of liberals today.  Honor, truth, and justice are just silly little words.

This should in fact be the biggest story out there, but I agree, Biden, or whomever is controlling him will do nothing about it unless they see this as an opportunity to throw Milley under the bus for the Biden/Afghanistan debacle.  I do wonder if Milley is still consulting with his Chinese partners about the current mental state of our current divider-in-chief.

If true, this was clearly a conspiracy to subvert a legally elected POTUS by setting himself via a military coup. That is grounds for some serious prison time at the very least. Imagine if this had happened when Obama was POTUS.

Milley acted way, way, outside the bounds of the US Constitution.
