I-751/N400 Interview Rescheduling

Hi!

 

We have a pending I-751 since November 2019 and have been waiting for a interview since July 2020. We then filed N400 in April 2021 and are waiting as well. 

 

My wife has a I-551 stamp in her passport with a expired green card and we will be traveling to india in February. 

 

Question: When we are in India and a interview letter is sent do we have any options to reschedule the interview? Is this normal? Abnormal? 

 

Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Attorney's reccomment not to loose biometrics appointments. You have a pending interview. I did the same thing last summer and it costed me dearly, had to return in a hurry. My advice is: re-schedule your travel trip. I know it is hard but you will be glad you did it. So, you may the call.
