Fully agree - hoping to have some feedback from NVC within the next 2 weeks based on the published timeframes, but even then from looking at timelines of similar cases with London embassy it could be another 5 months until I have an interview...

My wife is moving back to USA on 10th of September, so it's looking like long-distance for a few months at least which is pretty frustrating (although I appreciate there are others here who are still waiting for I-130 approval and have been living apart already).

I've completed our timeline and will keep it updated to hopefully help the estimates for the rest of you.

Quick update on my NVC case in case this is helpful for others - I got DQ from NVC this morning.

I originally submitted all my docs in early July, but then had RFEs in September, so effectively took 2 full rounds of review (can confirm the clock resets if you have to submit additional documentation / amend existing).

But very happy to clear another hurdle and now impatiently waiting for interview letter from London embassy... 🤣

Congrats, can you share what was the reason for RFE?

Thanks!

The request was for us to submit a W-2 form in addition to the tax return we had already submitted for our joint sponsor.

Hello everybody! Has anybody has their case moved from NVC to the embassy? Me and my husband got approved on August 10th, 2022 and on August 13th, 2022 our case got transfer to NVC. We submitted by the end of August with our lawyer. The only issue we had was with our marriage certificate because they wanted us to re-uploaded. They dont specifically tell you the issue, which is infuriating because they dont have a phone line and dont answer emails. We uploaded an updated version of the document. It has been a month a no response from them. How can people contact NVC? Any suggestions?

I’m not sure if it’s the same issue, but the one RFE I got with our marriage certificate was because it was not the certified (notary sealed) version. To contact NVC I believe is only through the portal.

Hi everyone,

Starting a new topic for people who filed I-130 in september. We filed on 2nd september and received NOA1 on the same day. Our PD is also the same day. Please share when you'll get actively reviewed status on your case and feel free to say hi as well :)

Hi 👋

I had to resubmit a doc to NVC, it took exactly 2 months for them to approve it. Last time I checked, they had their phone line shut down. You can submit an inquiry, but that will take a couple of months to get a response and they'll probably just send a boilerplate message back anyway.
