I would develop a plan B (like video conferencing).  Is there a good reason the consulate officer should believe that you won't illegally stay in the US and work illegally again?

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

It's an American company but the business is mine, it's website and social media based. So I would have to be able to work online no matter what country I would travel too.

You won't get a B2 to work in the US.

I wish you luck but i see you have a very difficult road to get a B1 visa.

 

1. More than 1 year of overstay. Remember 10 yr ban means "should be denied entry/visa" during those years. 10yr ban over doesn't mean "should be issued a visa"

 

2. Multiple failed attempts to go to the US.

 

3. What is the need for an in-person conference for a "website and social media based" online business when video conference is so booming. 
 

Btw, did you happen to work when you overstayed.

Realistically do not expect an approval even if you apply for a visa. One year overstay is flagrant violation and without an immigrant petition or compassionate visa, your chances are almost nil.

Just another random guy from the internet with an opinion, although usually backed by data!
