What are you guys using your expedite as a reason? If you guys do not mind answering. I sent an nvc expedite on the October 7th but no response yet.

Nothing. We didn’t expedite, the government (NVC) expedited us. Our cases are from 2019 CC’s, idk if all but a large amount of 2019 cases were expedited to Juarez on September 8th and we are now starting to get appointment letter

If it’s not approved, gather more “evidence” and try again. You don’t lose anything by submitting a request. Good luck. The government shutdowns and then covid, backed everything up years for many countries

I didn’t get the email until 6:12pm here today, so there was no time for that. Already booked flight and hotel. Will arrive on the 31st to get all my thoughts together and be able to get our medical and all that done on the first. I believe an updated no antecedentes penales is also required. And will have to do an appointment for the fingerprints and photo also, which I’m hoping for Tuesday. I really don’t know if they are open on the weekends but I’ll try and see if either appointment can be made tomorrow. We weren’t even notified by our lawyer, the email arrived after his office had already closed

🥲🥲😇😇😇 thanks for updating us!!! Now i am getting nervous!

Im thinking of flying to El Paso then crossing to Juarez. Question is are they letting people cross??? Its saves tons of money since Im taking kids as well.

There’s no direct flights, all flights have layovers of up to 22 hours and going further away from the border. I got the ticket to El Paso and will be crossing over in Taxi or whatever when I get there. If you’re a Mexican national, they have to let you in also it’s just essential travel. Oh and the US government already said starting November 6 or 8th the border will be open again to non essential travel they land with both Mexico and Canada

Does anyone know what happens if your passport isn’t good for 6 months on the intended time of entry? Mine will only be good for let’s say 5 month, also all depends on how fast the courier returns it. And I don’t have time to get an appointment for a new one

I have hear people saying that you can still take it even if it’s five months and good luck congratulations

I hope so, because they wouldn’t renew it because it’s still valid lol they said I’d either have to make a police report if it were stolen. Or if it’s destroyed, you have to bring it in and hand it over. I was told that was the only way to get a new one with a new date while it’s still technically valid

FYI... I booked flight with Frontier it's not a direct flight but it's only 7 to 8 hours for $44 one way. Return flights are also cheap. Layover's are crazy for most airlines and all other major airlines were north of $220.
