If your husband is in Mexico, you could try and get your case expedited. If your case still isn’t complete at the NVC level but they approve the expedite it goes straight to Juarez and you just gotta show and prove everything to them in person at the appointment. It’s also worth noting that if you request an expedite and it doesn’t get approved, it does not affect you in any way, you don’t lose your place in line or anything and expedite requests for this don’t cost anything either

Hi again! You would do this of course after creating your account in CEAC. Is it self explanatory where to go to complete the request for Expedite after logging in?

Here you go NVCExpedite@state.gov

And good luck

Wow, Thank you so much!

I received the Welcome letter from NVC at 11pm last night and another one asking for documents and payment at 4am this morning!

Yes you can

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Our case has said ready (“at Ciudad Juárez”) since September 11th, left NVC September 8th, it is now October 6th, still no letter, so if the time starts rolling when Juarez finally says they have your case, it’s going to be a while still for y’all but hopefully not too long. You can always try to expedite. All I can say is get your ducks in order, makes copies, get a folder together, devise a plan B just in case. We’ve all been at this for so many years, as frustrating as it is, what’s another month or two 🙄

I have not, I’m currently in no hurry as we have some paperwork still to get together and as you know government agencies take their sweet time to do the things you need. We’d end up in a weird pickle if we got the appointment letter now so we’re just chillin. Our CC is July 2019, what’s another couple of months
