Hey guys 

Am new on this forum and I have a question regarding my expedited case. NVC approved my expedited application and sent me email that lagos office approved and requested my file transfered to lagos on August 5th. They said that Embassy will contact me regarding interview but I waited nearly 10 day and nothing from Embassy and called them which they created a profile for me and asked me to schedule the interview. But I continue to check but the system keep saying "There are no interviews available now". I called them and the Lagos office keep telling me to continue to check. Please can someone explain to me if it is my duty to schedule the interview since they are the people that requested my file to be transferred to them. And I have a family situation that requires me travel with my child to the US and which the Dad said he cant handle all be himself.

Am confuse on what to do next and there are no interview slots in Lagos. . Please I need further explanation.

That is how it is for Lagos.  They release interview slots, and they are snapped up immediately.  I have seen others here recommend to look for open interviews at all times of the day and night.  @dwheels76 may have more specific advice.

You are right @Jorgedig their calendar is into 2022.

OP, Are you sure you are in the expedite, emergency calendar?

I would contact embassy and asked them. Because I have always seen expedites scheduled by embassy for Nigeria. email them to verify.

Pls schedule your appointment with the embassy for your interview you don't need them to schedule appointment for you once your expedite approved. There is a link on the email read very well where you can make an appointment by yourself.

Hey may I ask how long it took to get an answer from Lagos us embassy once they tell you your Expedited is being reviewed. And for someone in the USA how can I call the Nigerian US embassy?

U can only get appointment via email, Lagos consular take their time to do things before 3 weeks to A months u will definitely get email from consular but keep sending email from ur profile thank u
