DS-160 Serious Issues

Hi Everyone, 

 

I am working on filling out the DS-160 for my fiancée and I am having serious issues with the web site. It kicks me out half way through the process. I know it says that the system is undergoing maintenance, but not during these days. They also say that you get timed out in twenty minutes  due to inactivity, but that is not the case. it is kicking me out in the middle of the application. My fiancée tried 10 different times and i tried two times already. I am using the latest version of chrome. 

 

Does anyone know what the issue is?

You need to download Firefox. Also had the same issue with chrome and safari until I switched to Firefox.

Thank you Powerpuff. I tried that and it worked for me as well. I should be able to pay the fees now right?

 

I logged in to https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx to pay the fees, but it still says to fill the D-160. Should I just wait a couple of days?

K1s do not pay through CEAC and they don’t need to create an account there. You pay your fees through https://www.ustraveldocs.com Choose the country and create an account. Consulate instructions that they sent to your email should have included this. At least the consulate I went through wrote out these steps on how to pay the fee.
