asking for help on behalf of a friend

I am just asking for information for a friend who is here in the Uk on working visa from Tanzania (africa) and she has been here now for 1 and half years and her visa will expire approx march 2008. She met a man (family friend kinda rranged marriage) who came to the UK on vacation - they met , fall in love decided to get engaged and now she isnt sure what process to go through. He is a american citizen and is now back in the states - If he applies for the K1 Fiance visa route for her does she state that she is here in the UK and eventually go to the london embassy etc or will she have to return to her home country? for example on the paperwork does she state all the UK addresses etc? Obviously for a police report she may have to contact the authorities back in Tanzania as she hasnt lived here int he UK for the last 5 years.

Any advice is very much aprreciated.

27 Feb. 2006: K1 petition sent to Nebraska Service Centre

2 March 2006: NOA1 dated (received in mail on 9 March 2006)

4 May 2006: NOA2!!!!! (DAY 66)

8 May 2006: File Sent to NVC (as stated on email dated 9 May)

24 May 2006: NVC sends our file to London Embassy

8 June 2006: Packet 3 arrives (DAY 101)

25 August 2006: Pack 3 sent to London Embassy registered post

29 August 2006: London Embassy receives my Pack 3 - 9/9/06 pack 4 arrives

SEPT 2006:APPLICATION PUT ON HOLD - WE HAD A FALLING OUT.

MAY 2007:RESUMED THE VISA APPLICATION

6 June 2007: Medical @ 2.30pm - need to get anew GP letter and psychiatric evaluation

7 June 2007: INTERVIEW @ 10am - waiting for new police record letter

3 July 2007: APPROVED/Visa arrives

She can go to the embassy in London - just make it very clear on the cover letter and when indicated that the embassy everything should be sent to is London.
