Military NVC Expedite (merged)

Hi everyone, 

 

I recently submitted all my docs to NVC. My husband is active duty military and has an upcoming deployment. 

We have submitted an expedite request to NVC but have not yet heard anything back. 

Do you think calling and explaining the situation will help? Or I should call my embassy? Will that help speed things up?

 

This whole process has taken so long and we are on a really tight deadline with deployment looming.

Hi all, 

 

I submitted all my docs to NVC last week but when I check the case status is only says it has received my DS-260.

In my portal everything says submitted so I think it is ok? 

I just dont want to make sure everything has gone through and I am not just sitting here waiting and there is an error.

Are you already DQ'ed at NVC?

Not completely sure how things are right now but I would think it would be beneficial to contact the embassy. During the last year NVC hasn't done anything on their own but waited for the embassy to signal when they're ready for the next bunch of applications so the pressure must come from the embassy.

 

Bonus questions: Do you really want to move here just to be alone while he's deployed?
