Is there anyone else here still waiting on any update after the biometrics? I haven’t had any movement at all since I did my fingerprints in October. I’m thinking it has to do with my FO - San Bernardino, CA. Happy for all you guys getting your cards and interviews and what not! Always a plus to see the good news on here!

Me. I did my bio last Nov. FO is Raleigh, NC. Idh EAD yet too.

Just finished our interview 60 minutes ago

The interviewer did not check or ask for any document whatsoever. I actually voluntarily showed him some photos.

Entered the interview room:
1. Asked for my passport (he actually said I only want your passport and not your wife's, as I have everything with me already) AND our sealed medical envelope. I handed him both.
2. Asked a couple of questions from Mrs. (USD). What is your husband's DOB, what car do you drive, etc? In total 5-6 questions only, very common questions. Nothing about relationships at all.
3. Read to us formality questions i.e. national security-related
4. Boom (Your petition is fully approved) expect GC in 2-4 weeks. It is 10 year GC (he said)
5. Handed us the interview result letter, which had the tick/checkmark on the approval

I think it all depends on case to case. i.e. if your case is on a marriage base, and your marriage is less than 2 years, they might ask a few extra questions and see some more documents.

Finally, I am so relaxed now.

I just got the notice on the myuscis portal. Case approved. We are getting the conditional green card.

We have been married less than a year so we figured that is the reason for all the extra questions and the conditional.

Now to wait for the card in the mail.

I would also be interested in knowing how long it's taking to get the actual GC in the mail. If anyone could share.

Why affidavit of support? Didnt you submit that in your initial pack?

All looks good. Just add house lease documents.

Yes, we did, but we also received an RFE for it and it's already printed out so can't hurt to bring even though they probably won't look at it.

Hi everyone!

we had our interview almost 2 weeks ago. We prepared a lot of documentation but we didn't need much.

The officer looked for the medical (thankfully was in the packed but I had with me the copy of the original just in case).

We were approved on the spot but the status changed online only the day after.

Received the card in the mail about a week after the interview.

Wish everyone who didn't get their interview yet the best of luck!!
