Congrats to those who already had their EADs and interviews scheduled.

 

Quick question: do you have any idea how thry process the EAD approval? Is it based on your state too? I am just womderimg because I have seen others that filed after I did but they already had their EADs.

My EAD was also standalone. Approved on 6th April. Card received within 4 days. Till date no sign of life on AP yet.

I too desperately need AP.

 

Oh gosh, I was hoping you guys have already some news regarding AP. I am December filler, got my EAD a month ago (which im happy about of course), but AP is stuck in MSC as received. I havent seen anybody yet saying they got AP this year.... (maybe i missed something but believe me im checking the forum for that info very often :( )

My understanding is that it is pretty much random: your case gets filed into one of many queues and some move faster than others - it is basically just down to luck.

Also heavily dependent of the underlaying application for the AOS. Employment based AOS (even follow to join cases) are getting approved without interview and in less than 4 months. Family based AOS, not so much

My SS arrived in the mail a day before my EAD.

09/17/2021 - Bank Acct. debited in the amounts of $1225 and $535
09/17/2021 - Received 3 SMS messages with Receipt Numbers @ 8:52PM
09/23/2021 - Received Form I-797C in mailbox with Notice Date of 09/16/2021
09/24/2021 - Received notice that Biometrics Appointment date has been scheduled
09/25/2021 - My wife received Form I-797C Notice of Action via USPS which included the online access code
10/01/2021 - Biometrics NOA arrived in mailbox
10/18/2021 - Biometrics Completed ( Case Status changed to "Case is Being Actively Reviewed")

04/06/2022 - EAD Card Is Being Produced

04/08/2022 - EAD Card Was Produced 

04/11/2022 - Card Was Picked Up By USPS

04/12/2022 - SS Card was delivered  to me

04/13/2022 - Card Was Delivered To Me By Post Office

09/01/2022 - I-131 Case Approved

09/02/2022 - Advanced Parole Document Was Produced

09/06/2022 - Advanced Parole Document Received

10/26/2022 - Interview Was Scheduled

11/29/2022 - Interview Completed (No Decision)

I'm not an expert on getting the SSN via the EAD form as I got mine via the K-1/I-94 route (thanks god, as still no EAD in sight for me), but I assume it still comes from your local office -- perhaps you could try calling/visiting them to understand where yours is?

I received my ead yesterday and today i visit local ssn office they give me on the spot ssn printout letter and card in 2 week as per letter
