Hey everyone! So I just checked my case today, am still waiting for an interview at Fort Myers, my EA was just approved today and they're issuing my card now, I'm most worried about the AP cause my mom has been sick and really need to travel, I see no change on its status though, makes me think this is not a combo card anymore, is it?

Sorry about your mom, sucks to be in this situation. Try checking the USCIS portal. There will be a notice under the 765 section. Is it named standalone or combo card? That should give you an idea.

Marriage to USC (H1b to GC)

9/27: Delivered to USCIS Chicago and signed by Chyba
09/29: Text messages for application
10/7: (2) NOA's for I-485 and I-765 received in mail

10/16: Online status changed to "biometrics scheduled". Bio on 11/09.

11/04: RFE received for Birth certificate

11/05: Uploaded RFE response. Status changed to "we have received RFE response"

Thank you so much, you were on point, sadly it is a standalone card, hopefully I hear back soon on the other

Wow! Congratulations!

What documents did you take with you?

Did you take everything you sent in initial package again?

Thanks! I didn’t, the officer had everything I sent in the aos package

So, you literally went to interview bare hand?

What I wanted to know is, what should I take to my interview, please

I came with documents that showed me and my husband’s bona fide relationship.

Which documents did you use to show the bona fide relationship?

I think it is reassuring for those of us who have interviews coming up to hear about the documents others have brought to their interviews which ultimately were successful.
Thanks! :)

- pictures, joint bank statements, jointly filed taxes for 2021, life insurance, dental insurance, plane tickets, movie theather tickets, xmas cards from family, affidavite & explanation about our rent/lease situation, renters insurance, w2, updated i-864 (my husband’s salary increased), letter of employment, pay stubs, birth-certificates, k1 noa1+noa2, i-94, marriage certificate, copy of ds-3025, interview notice

The officer did not take a look at all of it, she took some copies of certain documents, but she was mainly talking to us about day-to-day things

My I-765 (EAD) was finally approved!

As expected it's a standalone card, so hopefully Advance Parole isn't too far away. Does anyone have any insight on how long AP is now taking?

My updated timeline:

15 September 21: AOS packet received by USCIS
18 October 21: Biometrics Appointment (Elizabeth, NJ)
28 October 21: RFE sent for I-485 (UK Birth Certificate)
28 October 21: RFE response received (later updated to 18 March 22)
22 April 22: I-765 (EAD) Approved

Congrats. Yeeeh

My EAD was also standalone. Approved on 6th April. Card received within 4 days. Till date no sign of life on AP yet.

I too desperately need AP.
