I have the green checkmark since the day they received RFE on February 3rd. This RFE is listed under I130 and not I485. I have seen no movement. Maybe because it is an RFE under i485 that's why it's not seeing any movement?

Interesting series of events today:

1) I checked My USCIS and saw that the evidence we submitted on January 25, 2022 changed to say it had been received/reviewed on April 2.

2) I spoke to a live agent on Emma to ask if the interview had been scheduled yet. I was told no.

3) Shortly after, case status updated to say interview has been scheduled!

Do I have to wait for the interview letter to arrive in the mail or is there a way to find out the details sooner?

You can find out your interview date from EMMA.

It depends on what state you applied from. How busy they are, and what is their processing estimate timeline. The moral of the story is, this is positive news, some light at the end of the tunnel. Having EAD being produced, courtesy deficiency letter, Imagine, this is better than staying at just the status of Evidence Submitted

Of course it depends on where you are based out of and how busy they are, but telling someone that their interview will be scheduled in a couple of weeks purely because they received the courtesy letter just isn't right in my opinion. They might still have a long wait ahead so why get someone's hopes up like that when you know for a fact it'll depend on a number of factors. But you do you I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you. Do I take verything that I sent in my package?

Yes. Make sure to bring your originals for marriage certificate, passports, birth certificates and so on. Make sure to bring your tax documents for this year and any new evidence to prove your bona fide marriage. Your case should be clear cut though seeing that you've been married for 5 years. Also don't forget to take your sealed I-693 with you.

Update - I got an I 693 deficiency notice today. I had submitted this concurrently with my I-130 and I-485 yet I got this notice.

This is the second time this has happened with my I 864 missing first time around :(

I had a couple of questions

Prior to Sept covid shots were not mandatory for I 693 so it wasn't mentioned in I 693 submitted then. Should I update the form to reflect covid shots?

Also should I mention at all that the form was already submitted concurrently and that Im re submitting it?

Thanks.

When they approved my parents last year, it was after receiving this letter. Look on the positive side, it's almost the end. Ask your attorney for that, it should know

Is it almost the end? If it is, Im ecstatic!!

At first I thought its a simple deficiency and I will respond to it myself but then I had second thoughts and have pinged my lawyer.

EAD approved on April7th

i485 pd: 09/31/2021

not sure if the EAD card will have an AP endorsement on it.

We also applied for the Social Security and not sure if the SS would be mailed now that EAD is approved.

my RFE received date also switched from February 2 to April7th. It was an rfe under i130
