Oh no. Sorry to hear that. I hope your EAD is approved soon. It was a pleasant surprise for me as my service center is California one of the slowest..I wasn't hoping for anything this soon at all

Wanted to give others an update that today I got a notification that my EAD card is being produced. I was about to send in my expedite request documents to them but looks like I won't have to do that. Priority date 9/27. 

 

The file uploaded to the online account was named '765 notice - standalone approval' so I'm guessing advance parole will be processed separately.

My EAD was finally approved today and my status has changed to Card is Being Produced!

FINALLY! 

 

Today receveied notification to my email that action has been taken.

Checked and found two things:

1. EAD card is being produced and Standalone approval plus PDF approval letter

2. A deficiency notice

 

My questions are, what is deficiency notice? Does this letter means my interview is being scheduled?

NOTE: I never sent medical report, I planned it to take it to interview direct. Direct case no lawyer, so I have limited knowledge

That I693 Deficiency notice, literally means "Get you medical ready, we abt to schedule you for an interview", you should be getting your dates with in couple of weeks or less Congrats!!

The EAD, I actually desperately needed travel permission. More than work permit. 

 

It says Standalone approval and I should receive card in post. The card is being produced.

 

Will this by any chance be so called combo? or no chance

I got my card last week and is a combo, but my letter was titled Combo Approval and said advance parole is also approved, so you’ll only get an EAD.

Yeah this is basically a suggestion that they've gotten everything they need at this point and also serves as a courtesy reminder to bring your medical report when you get scheduled for your interview. I got my courtesy letter 10 days after my biometrics but my interview is yet to be scheduled.

Congrats. I got the exact same update as you 2 days back, including the 693 letter and standalone approval notice. One thing I did notice was that there was a separate update for RFE response right below the actively reviewing status. Even though I had sent in my response back in Nov 21, the line says they received April 4th. As someone else mentioned in this thread, this may be because they just reviewed the response. Do you see any such update? Fingers crossed for not having any more issues and getting the interview soon.

People that were not in status even for couple days won't get advance parole. You have to be in status to be approved. Not sure if that applies to anyone here, but just in case...
