If your I 751 and I 131 is shown as Case Received its most likely green card thats coming.

Ive seen it happen to a few filers of late where those stay in Case Received status but before that their GC is produced and sent to them.

Good luck and keep us posted which card you got.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply!

Fingers cross for the GC then 🤗

Thanks! But wondering about the EAD, since the I-765 & I-131 status are still in case received and as far as I know the EAD/Advance Parole are processed separately. Either way, looks like good news!

I’m subscribed to the USPS Informed Delivery. Let’s see what happens in the next days!

How awesome it that?!? Congrats! I think they waive interviews for some who are married longer than 2 years do maybe that’s what’s happened? Anyway, such awesome news!

My AOS is considered employment based due to my wife original's EB2 visa petition, so I guess they are waiving employment based petitions like few years ago. We also have been married for 11 years so it may be a contributing factor.

Hi,

I hope y'all are good! I applied for AOS from B2 (my wife got her GC through EB2). Below my timeline:

01-Sep-2021 = Mailed I-485, I-765, I-131 & Medicals

08-Oct-2021 = USCIS confirmed reception of all my forms & fees on 03-Sep-2021

16-Oct-2021 = Biometric appointment confirmed on 10-Nov-2021

10-Nov-2021= Attended BIO appointment.

Last Friday, I got an alert from USCIS:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On January 14, 2022, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

I'm not sure what to think. Did they approve the AOS without interview? Anyone here on the same spot?

On my Case Status the only update was the biometric fee acceptance. Nothing else, not even the appointment. My wife also did AOS and her status were more "filled" than mine but she got the same email when she got approved. She did interview although.

I just don't want to get my hopes high.

Regards,

RT

Congrats🥳🥳🥳. I know my parents did not do interview when I filed for them, but my friend'd mum did.... Same for unemployment.... so more than likely it is your green card.

EB2 based apps are never interviewed by default. Marriage duration and other particulars won't be subject of any scrutiny since it is not marriage based AOS.

Oh no! So they dint tell you on the spot that fingerprints are not usable? That makes me very nervous because i had the same worry for my dad due to his age but then I specifically asked the person who took the fingerprints and she said it came out fine. But now I hope they dont send me a 2nd biometric notice 😬

Yea - my understanding is that the fingerprints were taken properly at the ASC center but they sometimes are rejected by the FBI or some other agency in the chain.

Well, before October 2017 that was the rule regarding EB applications. However, USCIS changed that (https://www.uscis.gov/archive/uscis-to-expand-in-person-interview-requirements-for-certain-permanent-residency-applicants). All the people I know who applied for AOS after that were interviewed (my wife and 4 of our friends).

I guess with the new administration and COVID they started to go back to the original criteria.

Guys, I had the interview on Dec 09/2022.
It was incredibly fast, we filled on sept. Everything went well during the interview, officer said he was going to approve us and asked to wait 30 days. We haven’t received anything, I-485 online status still saying “interview was scheduled”, I-130: “Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS”.  Anyone in a similar situation? Any advices?

You mean December 2021 right?

No one here has done their interview yet. Closest scheduled interviews are next month.

What is your Field Office?

To my knowledge, I've read of a few instances similar where people have had their interviews but Case Status doesn't change for some reason or other. Hopefully you will have your approval notice and GC soon.

Hi!

When my wife did her interview, they told her the same but it took almost 2 months for the approval/card production. Our lawyers said it wasn’t usual to take that amount of time and told us to wait 60 days to make an inquiry.

Hello

how and when was medical done for AOS? Do we have to get done with medical and send report with AOS packets or it is to be done when interview is scheduled? Thank you!

Hi!

I did my medicals and sent it with my AOS package. That was the recommendation from my lawyers.

What visa did you use to enter the US?  This sub-forum is for those adjusting status from K1 visaK1 visa holders normally do not need to repeat their medical, assuming they filed their I-485 within 1 year of their visa medical and completed their vaccination requirements then.
