Damn our FO is not moving at all! While other FOs in California are. I'm guessing I probably won't hear anything from them this year.

Omg omg omg. Sorry I'm just so excited. I have a very complicated immigration history (no overstays but multiple visas and even a green card as a child — ask me about it over drinks 😜), and I was worried a lot about an RFE

Thanks to @JandK24 for the tip. I added a few cases around mine to the tracking interface on the Case Tracker app. I checked 500 cases before mine and there were RFEs, but 500 above mine had none. Tonight I got an update that some cases way above mine were RFEd.

After double checking, I logged in to my account and didn't see any status change. But when I went to "my documents" for my I-485, I saw a new document called, "Courtesy letter to applicant." I click on it and lo- and behold it's the I-693 deficiency notice.

Safe to say I won't be getting any RFEs from NBC (that would just be a very inefficient process...). But slight chance I could get one from my FO.

I also noticed no IOE cases change to "case is ready to be scheduled for interview" but go directly from "USCIS is processing your case" to "interview scheduled."

My FO is still interviewing people with an April 2021 PD. So now the wait begins...

I got this update 10 days after my biometrics.

Oh that's great (about the Courtesy letter). My NOA and biometric timeline is almost same to yours. The receipt number is IOE091348XXXX. So I am hoping to hear from USCIS soon for the next steps.

Have you checked your online account? It doesn't show up as a status update, just a silent upload of the document.

Also I reached out to USCIS and it turns out my case is now "in the queue waiting to be scheduled for an interview," even though my status says "case is currently being reviewed." I guess this is the new norm for IOE cases where it doesn't update till the interview is actually scheduled.

Application for Naturalization (tbd, Philadelphia Field Office)

11/18/24: N-400 filed online and USCIS portal predicts 7 months to decision

11/18/24: Received receipt notice; biometrics reuse notice; and case status changed to "case is actively being reviewed"

Removal of Conditions (tbd)
2/6/24: I-751 packet shipped via FedEx

2/7/24: Delivered and signed for

2/9/24: Text message with IOE receipt number received at 12:26pm

2/13/24: I-797 48 month extension letter and biometrics reuse letter available online, case updated to "actively being reviewed"

Adjustment of Status (5 months)
9/13/21: AOS packet shipped via FedEx

9/15/21: delivered and signed for

9/17/21: 4 text messages with IOE receipt numbers received at 8:45pm

9/24/21: Received 4 receipt notices in the mail and online access code

9/25/21: Biometrics scheduled for Philadelphia, ASC

10/18/21: Biometrics appointment completed for I-485 and I-765 (Code 3)
10/18/21: After biometrics, I-485 and I-765 case statuses immediately changed to "case is being actively reviewed"

10/28/21: I-693 deficiency notice uploaded online, case status still, "case is being actively reviewed"

12/29/21: Interview scheduled. Contacted Emma agent and they said it is on 2/7/22

2/7/22: I-485 approved

2/12/22: I-797 approval notice received for I-485 and I-130

2/15/22: Green card delivered by USPS

Wow! What did you ask? I am so curious what is happening to my case as well, as I haven’t get any rfe and courtesy letter doesn’t apply to me since I adjusted from K1.

I did check in the account after reading your post, but nothing yet. Btw, how did you contact USCIS? Through EMMA or the message interface in the myuscis?

Through Emma chat.

Me: Can you tell me if my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview?
Emma: So you want me to see if an interview has been scheduled?
Me: That or if it is ready to be scheduled

Emma: Our system is showing that your interview has not been scheduled yet. It has been requested for scheduling. ...

Btw I looked at the Case Tracker app for IOE091348001 - 1349000, and 3 out of 26 I-485 cases have received have received RFEs. And 9001 - 9501 contains my case. So if, based on my searching they are working in sequence, you should be getting a courtesy letter or RFE very soon.

Fingers crosses for not receiving an RFIE. Everything we sent seems to be in order but we never know.

Oh god yes! Even SoCal is moving much faster. From the link posted below your comment, it looks like average 4 months from filing to bio and another 2 months for interview.

But not sure if its specific to a type of visa or for everyone. Not expecting bio before beginning of next year.

I didn't notice I had the same thing until I saw your update just now. I immediately logged into my online account and checked under the documents tab and there it was. We really seem to be moving on the same exact timelines you and I. You got me excited on this rainy, boring day!!!

Yeah I never knew how they prioritize cases. It's like a blackhole.
