Hey guys, a quick question: how long did you have to wait between seeing on the website that your biometrics appointment has been scheduled and getting the notice in the mail? I’m an over-worrier and I just don’t want to accidentally miss it!

I was scheduled on the Sept 24 and received the letter in the mail on October 4, so ten days.

Thank you so much for replying! It makes sense it would just magically appear in my mailbox 5 seconds later 😂

Great, thank you so much! :)

You also get the chance to reschedule if you miss it, hopefully not, but yeah should be about a week, take a deep breath and look for it in the mail

For me it took 7 days. If you want to make sure you won’t miss your appointment, you can always chat with Emma on USCIS website, then ask for a live agent to tell you when and where your biometrics appointment will take place! :)

You can also download the pdf version of the notice from the online account and print it. You can also carry that to your ASC

Just checked with Emma.  No receipt in the system yet for filing on September 24. No checks encashed till now.

Did you ask your lawyer if he can contact them via lockbox?

We used a lawyer and then double checked the complete application before sending it. Neither me nor my lawyer saw anything incomplete or missing for USCIS to return, unless someone does not check the filing properly

I see no movement as well. Check has not been cashed. I applied for a parent on my own. They received it on September 30th.

I wonder what happens in the case if they return the docs back to correct them and the applicant's date on i94 already passed.
