Hello y’all

Just a small question. Do you have the affidavit of support uploaded online on myUSCIS account? Cause I have the taxes only.

I don't see our affidavit of support uploaded to our online account. It just shows the supporting documents like the 1040's and all that stuff but not the actual application.

I’m not too sure why but it seems that the I-864 and related documents aren’t showing up online for a lot of people, me included. So I wouldn’t worry too much

Thank you!! That definitely is reassuring! It is strange because I saw so many people get RFEd for the affidavit lately and I just went to check mine and it’s not there 😂

Seriously, things have moved really quickly for some applicants in August and September. I've scrolled through May June's posts and people are getting their biometric appointments just now.

Side question - after you've set up your myuscis account - does it send you automatic notifications (email/text) in case there's an update on the case? I feel like I'm driving myself crazy checking for status updates 3 times a day and it would be nice if they auto notify. Need to chill lol.

Marriage to USC (H1b to GC)

9/07: Submitted I-130 and I130A online
09/14: Received NOA for I-130 in mail
9/24: Mailed I-485, I-864, I-765
9/27: Delivered to USCIS Chicago and signed by Chyba
09/29: Text messages for application
10/7: (2) NOA's for I-485 and I-765 received in mail

10/16: Online status changed to "biometrics scheduled". Bio on 11/09.

11/04: RFE received for Birth certificate

11/05: Uploaded RFE response. Status changed to "we have received RFE response"

I thought I'd just add my timeline in here for everyone.

Submitted AOS packet (including I-765 and I-131) based on marriage to a USC.

09/15/21 - Sent packet via USPS to Chicago lockbox

09/22/21 - Priority date

09/26/21 - Text/email confirmation of receipt by USCIS

09/28/21 - Checks cashed by USCIS

09/28/21 - Notice date for online account

09/30/21 - Received I-797C for I-485, I-765, I-131 and I-130 in mail

10/09/21 - USCIS online account updates to schedule biometrics

11/01/21 - Biometrics appointment (Brooklyn, NY)

A few points.

I'm currently in NYC and will be moving to Seattle next year. I know these are two of the more long-waiting FOs, so I'll let people know how they are and how the address change goes if that's a factor.

I've been using the Case Tracker app, which is not a USCIS product, but seems to work well.

I did not submit my I-693 at the time of filing.

Spouse and I did everything ourselves. It's a relatively simple case, no criminal record,  the relationship bona fides were easy and we also both speak English as a first language.

I mailed the packet via USPS and delivery was estimated at three days. They lost tracking, said it would be late and couldn't give me an answer as to where it was. It never got scanned by a distribution center after it left NJ. They were no help whatsoever. I finally got a delivery notification on the 09/23/21, but my priority date from USCIS is 09/22. It's only a delay of a few days, but it's the stress of not knowing and not being able to get a real answer that was bad. I will 100% be using FedEx or UPS for future documents.

Haha I completely understand! Yes once you get the account you can specify If you'd like email or SMS updates or both. I also use an app called " Case Tracker". its not an official app but it works well and send notifications too.

Hey guys, a quick question: how long did you have to wait between seeing on the website that your biometrics appointment has been scheduled and getting the notice in the mail? I’m an over-worrier and I just don’t want to accidentally miss it!

It mostly depends on USPS I believe, for instance my notice was issued on the 1st and got it in the mail about a week after
