Oh you should try it! Just go to usps website, register and they will send you email when you have mail coming to your address :)  there’s a section called informed delivery :) 43482B60-09AF-45AE-8B9E-3D157E52EBB5.thumb.png.0968292c0ae5694c7d595fc187745b4e.png

No worries! We're all in this learning together. So as @ltlbnna said, on the USPS website, you can sign up for informed delivery notifications (for free) for eligible mailing addresses within the US. They email you a summary each day that you have letters incoming for that day. very neat feature

Seriously! these forums are so helpful and useful. I find people here so helpful

If you want to find out the date and place of the biometrics ahead of time, on Monday you can go to USCIS website to the Chat with Emma function, then ask for live chat/ live agent and you can ask a live person when and where is your appointment taking place.

Is it that if you file for I 130 online and rest through mail you get a receipt quicker than if you send everything through mail?

Filed concurrently on Sept 23 at Chicago lockbox and silence here.

Don’t worry! This is how I found out my date ahead of letter coming with the snail mail haha. Or if the access code comes faster you can download your biometrics appointment letter from your online account :)

Yea I was wondering about that. I haven’t gotten any access codes as yet. Do they all come in one letter?

It’s basically a letter that comes a little bit later than the receipt notices. It has your info and one access code for you to link your paper filed case to your online account :)
