Hey,

our marriage based greencard interview was in February. Still haven’t heard anything.
What are the options if I need to leave the country and of course want to come back to my spouse to usa.

I am waiting for my work permit also but I didnt apply the travel thing.

can I apply it now and how long is the wait usually?🤯

thank you!

You can apply for AP.  It will take about 6-8 months to get.

If you leave the US without AP in hand or a green card, you will not be let in again.  You would need to apply for a spousal visa and that would take 1-2 years.

You didn't apply for free the thing that is designed exactly for cases like yours. Now, gotta apply for it first.

You leave without the green card (or AP that you didn't think you needed) and you start over.

Yeah😫 I really didnt think I would need it. I never thought our case would go extra time or extra wait.
