What in the world is this ???

August 16, 2021
“Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed”
Your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number XXXXXX, was completed, and your case must be reviewed.

I had my interview in another state. me and my husband had to travel for over 15 hours to get there. I changed the address with them previously and they sent it to my old address. We told the officer that and the officer checked in the computer and confirmed that we indeed changed the address, After the interview my officer said that she needs to send everything to an officer in the state I’m in so he/she make the decision.

That ever happened to you before?
What can I do?

Today I received a email with an update:

September 7, 2021 Interview Was Scheduled

September 7, 2021 We cancelled your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, and mailed you a cancellation notice.

September 7, 2021 We are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, for an interview.

I’m extremely confused.

Now it's at the IO's discretion at your current local uscis office to approve without an interview or request an interview. All you can do is wait and find out.

You could have avoided the current and 15 hours travel hassle by sending the interview reschedule letter to the former uscis office. What's done is done, just wait for either the interview letter or NOA2 from your current local uscis office.

You won't get another interview. Case will be transferred to your local office and your card will be issued. Yes, my friend through the same 3 months ago.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
