They asked for my joint sponsor's most recent tax transcript since he hadn't filed yet when I asked him for it so he gave me the 2019 one. Now they want the 2020 one

But all of my husband's civil docs were accepted thank god and the DS-260 as well.

 

I hope we get reviewed fast and not have to wait another 3 months because of this

Also, is it possible to submit an expedite to have the resubmitted docs reviewed sooner? And what is the expedite process like?

Sorry to hear you're having to re-submit, as you know this happens to many people, I'm currently waiting like you are, and you end up back to the end of the queue with a new submission date. 

 

If you have valid grounds to be expedited then you can submit a expedite, using the same process as anyone expediting at the NVC stage, I won't go into this as there are many threads on here you can find that deal with this and ask your questions there.  

 

If your joint sponsor has not submitted the 2020 tax return and they've asked for the 2020 transcription or return than ensure you submit relevant documentation explaining why this is the case.

My joint sponsor has since submitted his taxes which is good.

I'll check out the other threads about the expedite thank you.

This 7 day movement is way better than the 2 day movement we were seeing before November. Patience is the key, Good Luck!!!

Birth certificate was missing some information (our fault), and the police clearance was said to be expired but that has since been rectified through a query email in the system - nice when things work! So now just waiting on a revised birth certificate from our side...sigh.

congratulations, this is the second time I've seen where adding documents after you've submitted but before a review takes place not affecting your submission date. really happy for you!

 

and hopefully that they are moving along.
