I would like to share my experience and process on my N-400.                                         GC - 1996 at the age of 11                                      As a teen in a urban city of NJ i got my self in a lot of trouble with the law. From the age of 16 - 26 i was arrested about 7 times. Some cases i pled guilty to and some where dismissed which was the reason i decided to file for my N-400 with an immigration lawyer. He reviewed all my dispositions and told me i was going to be ok and that i shouldn't have any problems at UCIS.                                          I submitted my N-400 on 8/26/2019                 Fingerprint - 1/23/2020.                                         Schedule for the interview - 3/05/2020 which was cancelled                                                       Got rescheduled for 10/6/2020 where i was told i was scheduled by mistake and that my background check hadn't been completed that was going to be rescheduled.                    Eventually i got finally schedule on 7/13/2021. On my interview day when i finally made my way upstairs ( newark field office 12th floor) when i went to check my self in the lady couldn’t find my file and told me to sit down and wait for my name to be called. I waited for About an hour during that time at least 12 ppl went in to one of the 7 doors to be interview. After an hour my name was called but not from one of the doors but an officer standing at the entrance of the room. I was taken to the 13th floor to a room full of cubicles and offices against the wall. I was nervous and scare to say the least. He went over the yes or no questions from the application and then the civic, reading & writing part of the interview which it was the easiest part of the whole interview. He asked me a few personal questions then he mostly concentrated on my background  and dispositions which i only had 5 & it turned out i was arrested 7 times. Because i never ran my fingerprints i didnt know about the other 2 cases. The officer knew the outcome of those two cases and was very helpful even providing me all the information i need to find them. He told me himself that as soon as he got those two dispositions he was going to approved my N-400. Two weeks later i mailed him the two dispositions. A week after my paper was received my status change to in line for oath interview. On 8/13/2021 i received the oath appointment & on 8/20/2021 i got naturalized.
