No update (AOS) any advice

Hello everyone… I received an RFIE from USCIS for my Husband AOS and we replied it. So it’s been 53 days since they received it. Until now we don’t get anything from USCIS, not even the biometric letter.

is that normal? What is the time frame ? What can i do?

All you can do is try and wait patiently.  As long as you replied to the RFE on time, you're good.

Hello. I too got a rfie for my i485 as well, responded in time and my status was updated when they received it. I got biometrics a month later however no such info was posted to my case about  getting a biometrics letter or that they've collected my biometrics until this day. Who knows, maybe a biometrics letter is on its way to you.. So just hoping you will receive a notice soon even if your status doesn't say and I agree with signing up for informed delivery via usps. I wish you all the best.
