Second reentry permit

I know that it is not ideal, but sometimes situations like this come up.  If one needed to apply for a second reentry permit, can they do so before the first one expires, or must the reentry permit be expired before a new one is applied for?

Yes, they can. They just need to send the current valid reentry permit along with the new application.

Yes, but you need to return to the US first before applying for the second one.

If it is still valid, you send it with your application, if it expired already, you don't need to send it.

Just remember that to obtain a reentry permit you must be physically present in the United States when you file the form.
