I-864: IRS electronic transcripts vs scans of 1040 / W-2

Hi all,

I'm a K-1 visa holder from the UK. I entered the US in July, got married to my US citizen spouse in August, and am currently preparing to submit my AOS packet.

I have a quick question about the supporting evidence for Form I-864 Affidavit of Support, and specifically the sponsor's Federal Income Tax Return Information.

My wife has downloaded electronic copies of her IRS tax return transcripts for the three most recent tax years (2018, 2019, 2020). Are these sufficient evidence to include, or should we also be including scans of her 1040 and W-2 forms?

We also have a verification letter from her employer showing current salary, and a verification letter from her bank showing current balance of her savings and checking accounts.

Thanks!

You don't need tax returns if you have the transcripts....nor do you need the bank statements unless you are claiming assets.  CURRENT pay stub income  X number of pay periods per year = CURRENT annual income.
