Interviews in Casablanca embassy (f2a)

I hope everyone is doing great,

 

Have some of you gotten interviews for f2a cases (or other family based preference categories) in the Casablanca embassy ?

 

I know the backlog is getting dealt with according to tiers but since I haven't heard of anyone getting an interview among these categories was just looking to see if there was some movement in the queue other than K1 and IR1 visas and if so, what month the embassy is a with the DQ cases.

The number of F2a visa is limited so you need to wait till your number comes up 

Worldwide the limit was 21,984 for 2021

you should create a timeline to your profile so VJ community can offer advice and./or answer these questions

I still havent had the chance to update my timeline I will do so when i find the time,

 

As far as my PD goes, it's January 2018 so it's current,

 

Also, weren't 75% of F2A cases exempt from quotas ?

I quoted u employment based #'s as post did not say F2a was family or employment

 

 

2.  The fiscal year 2021 limit for family-sponsored preference immigrants determined in accordance with Section 201 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) is 226,000.  The fiscal year 2021 limit for employment-based preference immigrants calculated under INA 201 is 262,288.  Section 202 prescribes that the per-country limit for preference immigrants is set at 7% of the total annual family-sponsored and employment-based preference limits, i.e., 34,180 for FY-2021.  The dependent area limit is set at 2%, or 9,766.
