Hi,  im a silent reader here. 

Petition my parents last 2019.

PD: 12/2019 

DQ: 03/01/2021. 

Expedite request sent: 11/29/2021-No medical reason ----Just told them, "  its been almost a year since we got DQ. I would be grateful if the request will be granted." 

* was shocked and thankful when i got the approval. 

Expedite approved : 12/6/2021 (email)

CEAC update: IN TRANSIT-  12/8/2021

Received email about: interview cancelled-12/10/ 2021

CEAC update : READY---12/13/2021

 

* waiting for interview...

 

what steps should I do next? do my parents need to register in CGI website individually?do I have to sched their interview? date?

Congratulations!

Register just one of your parent to cgi and you can add the other as family member. They are posting available interview schedules on cgi. Right now no available. My parents are also approved expedite since Oct 25, but no IL still. I went ahead and scheduled them for medical. They just finished and cleared in one day (yesterday), they presented the DS-260. So just waiting for interview right now.

Hello! I’ve been reading this thread for awhile now and decided to send an Expedited Request on my mother’s papers. 
 

12/19 - Sent expedited request

12/21 - Email received regarding request is under review

12/28 - Email received that the request has been accepted and will be sent to Manila.

12/29 - Ceac says Its in transit

 

Is there anything I can do at the moment while I’m waiting? I saw someone saying that I can schedule the medical and my mom can do it prior to receiving the actual interview info.

Congratulations!!! That’s a very quick expedite approval! Awesome! 
 

As per your question of what you can do while waiting, schedule for medical 😊. I did, I still don’t have interview appointment  for my parents yet. They brought their DS-260 with them. I was worried of them going back for sputum which can take months for treatment, that’s why I went ahead and scheduled them. Thank God that they were both cleared. So right now, we are just waiting to get the schedule for their interview. Hopefully soon!

How did you schedule them for the medical? Did you just go to St Lukes website or something?

Just the DS260?..it’s good to know that we can schedule medical even without interview date.I’ll have to look for that now.

how much was the all in all fee in the medical exam?

Just under 15000 php each plus you need negative Covid test within 72 hours of appointment. In our case add another 5000 php per parent. You may find cheaper.

I just scheduled my mom’s medical exam along with a covid test appointment. I also setup  an account on ustraveldoc for her interview, how do you know when there’s available interview dates?

I am actually wondering the same thing. I have been checking everyday and still no available dates.

Yes just bring DS-260. They will be asked to sign a waiver though. That if the medical expires (6mos for normal and 3mos if sputum) and you still haven’t had interview, then you will need to redo the medical and pay again.

I wanted to try the expedite to see what would happen. I did not have any medical reason for my expedite and I was surprised it still worked out. Sent the expedite request last Monday, January 3rd and I got the approval earlier today.

That’s very quick! It took my expedite 1.5months. Now make sure to create an account on cgi website and be on a look out for available interview slots that will open. The agent I spoke with today said that US Em will post dates soon.

Yes, I was actually very surprised. Do you know where you can see the interview dates on the cgi website? Also, does that mean we will just book the interview ourselves as soon as slots open up? Like we don't need to wait for the interview letter? Thank you!
