I filed for my parents IR5 on June 2019, got DQ on June 2020, and then got scheduled for the interview on November 12. They both have the same appointment time.

Hi! My mom’s IR5 case was DQ on Aug 2020 and she just got her interview date  yesterday and it will be on Nov 5.

If it’s still says on her ceac profile that it is at NVC here’s their info:

A lady that messaged me who got approved for expedite in Poland received IL the day after NVC sent the case to her embassy. Hoping to see some movements in ours soon. 😩

 

I can’t even get a hold of US Embassy in MNL. No one answers. And after a long wait, call gets disconnected.

Hi! I am really hoping we can get IL letters soon but you will get them first before me for sure! 

 

Also an update I checked the status again of both my parents and bot shows READY.  :)

Got a note back yesterday from NVCExpedite saying they accepted the expedite request and forwarding the file to Manila (IR5).

 

I gave no real reason in request except "hey its been since July 2019 can we get a break?"

Whoever that person who received your expedite request, probably can’t stop laughing for the uniqueness of your reason and like “approved!” On to the next step 😂

 

Kidding aside, it seems that they are approving more and more expedite requests. I hope they are not doing this just to off load the files currently sitting at NVC. Praying that we start to see ILs being sent out. Happy thanksgiving to y’all!
