Hi I have question, I didn't expedite my mom's IR5. My priority date was Mar 2019. Yesterday, I received email from NVC and they scheduled my mom's interview for May 11, 2022 but we cant do it that day because my mom's passport expired and need to be renewed and she needs to get new NBI and police clearance and she still needs to do her medical exam.
Does anybody here have the same case who needs to cancel the original interview date? How do I cancel it and reschedule it?

Do I need to call them or can it be done online?

Appreciate help.

Hi, my parents have been documentarily qualified (IR-5) since January 2022. Do you know if what month are they processing now in US Embassy Manila. Per US Embassy Manila website, they mostly schedule IR visas that are documentarily qualifies by March 2022. How come I didn't receive any information yet?

Thanks in advance to those who were in a similar position as me.

Have you booked their interview schedule yet via the online scheduling portal?  If you haven't checked the scheduling calendar, then the action is on you, not the US embassy.  If you need more info on the process, read the previous posts in this thread for how other VJ members did it.

What does documentarily qualified mean? Also, the message you received (per the screenshot) regarding IV and significant backlogs is that from an email?

Has anyone ever gotten their interview scheduled at the US embassy in Manila for IR5 visas? I have been Documentarily Qualified since May 27th. I am just wondering if anyone else is on the same timeline as I am.

Thank you.

NVC review completed.  You and/or your parents should have received a CEAC inbox message and an NVC email about their cases with the words "Documentarily Qualified".  Based on your previous posts, your parents' cases were probably DQ-ed in 2020 or late 2019.

The latest update on consular operations from the US embassy in Manila is here -- https://ph.usembassy.gov/visa-update-consular-operations-visas-as-of-june-2022/

I've been checking daily, multiple times daily, to see if any interview slots open up for our parent's IR5 visa interview.  Always nothing.  Anyone have tips/tricks/advise on when to look?  Are they issued at certain times of the day/what times?  Do we have to keep checking until we find a slot???  Ugh.

Usually Mondays between 10am - 2pm these past months, but not every monday.  Also join FB group https://www.facebook.com/groups/IR5VISA - this is mostly hosted by Filipinos, you can find group chats that has daily assignments of watching as schedule opens.  Hope this helps!
