I was wondering if some one can give some information on whether it will be of any advantage of changing my Petition to CR1 instead of F2A

When was your naturalization oath?

After becoming a US citizen you must notify them. F2A cannot be retained, per law. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/immigrant-visa-for-spouse.html "If you filed a petition for your spouse when you were a lawful permanent resident (LPR), and you are now a U.S. citizen, you must upgrade the petition from family second preference (F2) to immediate relative (IR). You can do this by sending proof of your U.S. citizenship to the National Visa Center (NVC)."

appreciate your quick response and my Oath ceremony is next week. The reason I was asking as per processing times of I130 for vermont center is greater for CR1 compared to F2A
