Weird. And the application has for sure arrived at the embassy from NVC? I'd email the embassy.

I finally scale through filling the online form but what do they mean by signing the application, do I have to sign my signature electronically or what?

Yeah. I heard the beneficiary has to do it - so you want the IP address on the e-signature to be located in Senegal, but I don't know if that's actually a concern or not, if you happen to be the American helping fill it out...

Hey guys! My husband has been DQ since May 2021!

Where is everyone else at with waiting for the interview, I’m trying to gauge how backed up they are.

The main Dakar thread is here:

Wait times from DQ to interview have typically been a bit over a year.

Hard to say during covid...

For us (pre-covid), once I had the DSL confirmation that the case had arrived at the consulate, I emailed them with the case number and they sent the instructions by email the next day.

My fiancé's received this email from the embassy in Dakar today, attached with the email is the affidavit of support form to fill, and instructions on how to pay the visa fee, medicals, and schedule for interview. I guess this is the embassy letter I've been waiting for

We are pleased to inform that we have received your I-129F petition. Please find attached instructions about what to do to prepare for the interview.

Additionally, please see the following information regarding the Embassy's operating status and restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic: https://sn.usembassy.gov/visas/.

And if you got a letter as an attachment to that email with instructions, you should let @Greenbaum know. They collect these P3 letters from different countries to help people prepare. I didn't get a letter - just a link to the website I shared earlier in this thread, but if Dakar is doing letters now, it would be cool to have it on the forum.

Is there anyone else still waiting for the Embassy to open available appointment. From one wait to another this is really frustrating

Greetings. Hope you doing great, please any ideas on how I can arrange my visa interview documents?

Like arrange them physically for the interview? I had bought (in the US) a portfolio folder with divisions in it, so everything was organized in there. My fiance said he hadn't seen folders like that in Senegal, but any kind of folder with tabs to separate different documents seems like a good idea. But it sounds like the interviews are pretty chill, so anything should be fine, as long as all the papers are there.

Yes to arrange them physically. OK I will look for such folder. During the interview should you show documents to support your answers or you wait until the vo request for it?
