I'm 49 and did have to give both samples in June but thought it was odd that the doctor didn't examine me closely as it were, because some lassie had posted a different experience recently.

Do they knock any money off their price then? 🤔

Still charged me £440 (£350 for the medical + £90 for two jabs I was missing) so they certainly aren't passing the savings onto us!

Thats strange as i asked my GP for Tetanus and MMR a few weeks ago and i was able to receive the jabs without any issue. It must vary from practice to practice maybe. I told them it was for my visa and they just let me have the jabs straight away.

That's interesting, I'll see if I can say the same thing to my GP to get the Tetanus booster. Is the MMR jab a requirement if you had the jab as a child?

Tetanus/diphtheria can be no longer than 10 years ago. Revaxis is the drug usually given for that requirement.
Mumps/measles/rubella is two in your life. Infant and childhood shots count.

NHS practices vary on if they will give shots free. They aren’t required to for immigration.

I had my medical on the 18th and was informed that I didn't need to give a urine sample as I wasn't a high risk for catching whatever they test urine for, I am in my thirties. I was asked about my Covid vaccine status and this was noted on my list of immunisations.

The exam itself was thorough they checked my skin, eyes, did the chest X-ray, blood pressure, felt my stomach, checked my joint mobility, they also asked some questions about my medical records from my GP. That was pretty much it.
