ORIGINAL AFFIDAVITS or COPIES

I just assumed that any included AFFIDAVITS would need to be original instead of photocopies. But now I'm not sure. They say in the instructions not to send originals unless specifically asked for. Also is anyone sending COLOR photocopies of things like Drivers licenses and GREEN CARDS or just making black and white copies?

I always make color copies...always.  Affidavits are not required, and they are weak evidence.  In fact, they are basically worthless in the presence of ANY other evidence.

We sent in affidavits because the instruction's language kind of asked for it. But I guess not a lot of ppl bothered with it. Basically ours were sealed by the writers and they gave us a copy to read and keep just in case. The instructions asked for an original

5. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditional residence
was granted and have personal knowledge of your marriage and relationship. (Such persons may be required to
testify before an immigration officer as to the information contained in the affidavit.) The original affidavit must be
submitted and also contain the following information regarding the person making the affidavit: his or her full name
and address; date and place of birth; relationship to you or your spouse, if any; and full information and complete
details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge. Affidavits must be supported by other types of
evidence listed above.

Thanks for your reply.  I'm sorry, I've read and re-read these instructions many times and I completely missed the "Original."  I had assumed they would need to be original but forgot about that passage in the instruction.  Thanks, again.
