Op

To give u a lot of encouragement

all this is rather simple to take care of now

you've can easily show

the marriage and his family approves and u are able to have children which are things Casa needs to see

easy now to do a 1040x and have in time for the interview/  if u don't and they ask for it at interview,  it puts case into Ap and takes too much valuable time

i love it that you are stay at home mom  / kids need this

but return to US , stay with mom,  have family care for child while u work at even a part time job during the spouse visa process

part time (even at mininum wage )  with a joint sponsor and married over 2 years,  you'll be good to go

he will be IR1 category with a 10 year green card and able to work As soon as he can find a job

and he was the I 551 stamp on visa to work till green card comes

then u get to stay home

incha allah

there are things to know while going thru the steps like marking his ds 260 when u get to that part for immigraiton to do the SS card work

so, keep in touch at each stage

Hello,

I've posted here before a few months ago, but I'm posting again because I'm about to go back to the USA in a few days and I'm looking for advice.

I married my Moroccan husband 4 years ago. We have a 3 year old. I've also been living here for those 4 years.

I do not have any income as we have a small business here (well, it's mostly his), but that's income for our rent and just necessary things for the house/food.

I haven't worked since then, so for obvious reasons, I haven't filed any taxes.

I would like to know if that would affect my process in any way? I am planning on working as soon as I get back. I will also have a sponsor for my husband. I want to file for him as soon as possible since we will be separated for who knows how long... And I really do not wish to prolong that.

My question is, what's the average waiting time for this? What documents do I need from here? I've got what I need (looked online), but in case I might miss anything... It would be nice to have some advice from people who have gone through this.

Thanks in advance!

The spouse visa process is the same as when you asked last time, so you'll likely get the same advice.  Please do review the VJ guides, as @Crazy Cat advised before.  Check here -- https://www.visajourney.com/guides/ir1-spouse-visa/
