The house is in US. Just like my bank accounts...

You will be just fine. Just have a patience. I believe that the reason US embassy haven’t responded you or were not able to close your case is because- (1) Pandemic is still around the world; (2) because of Pandemic, everywhere (around the world) staffs are very limited everywhere, whether its a company, local govt., federal govt. and even in US consulates; (3) The assigned officer might have been on a long leave or might have been sick or something else. No other officer would allow to touch the file unless a substantial amount of time has been passed..at least 6 months. (4) Everything is extremely slow at this time around the world. Whatever you sent, it would be enough and it seems enough to me. Its just things are very slower now and need to have a patience than assuming something negative. Until you don’t hear back from US consulate, I wouldn’t think anything….

As far as I am concerned then I believe that there is nothing wrong in your submission of all these documents. Its just officer didn’t have time to check those documents. As to why officer requested these documents when those were already uploaded in their system with NVC before then you have to know that consular officers do always ask documents  even though those were already previously submitted. Before when everything was thru mail, then we people used to say that documents do get lost/missing while transferring of files from one location to another, but now when almost everything is digital then we don’t know why they couldn’t find those documents…but truth is still remained the same is that consular officers always ask some documents even though those are already submitted…maybe files get corrupted or deleted (by mistake) or whatever. But we have no option just comply with what officers ask because they are ultimately have the last say on the case…the sole authority to decide someone’s fate….A bit patience and understanding are all needed at this point of time, I guess. Good luck…

Update: on Oct 5, after 27 days, they replied to our attorney's initial inquiry. Their reply was that they won't talk to him unless he presents a signed g-28.

Also they said they look forward to hear back from my wife (though they used Ms. instead of Mrs.).

This is progress!  Send the signed G-28.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Update on Oct 5 we sent the same documents again asking if they have lost our Sept 21th email.

We haven't gotten any response. We sent another email on Oct 19 asking about our case status and eventually on Oct 26 we got the first meaningful reply from consulate saying that they have the documents and will ask us to send more if any other document needed. On Oct 27 we got the case into AP then issued. On Oct 29 we got the passport.
