I was married before but he got denied visa after interview. I’m now divorced and in a new relationship wanting to file K-1 and don’t want to make the same mistakes. I’ve attached here my email exchange with the embassy so I can get understand what I can do better with providing this time around since they were very vague in explaining what evidence they wanted to see from us.

Are you by chance also originally from Ghana?

Just another random guy from the internet with an opinion, although usually backed by data!

How  much time from Divorce to meeting new person online has there been?

Honestly with Ghana I would not be doing a K1 after a failed marriage where you were denied due to lack of proof of relationship. It may look like to the CO you aren't sure. Remember for a K1 to be approved they have to be convinced of a Bonafide relationship and convinced you will marry within those 90 days.

After your first attempt it may look like to them you are testing the waters and not sure.

Yu need to write an intend to marry letter. A lot of NICE photos together doing different things, love letters from each other, photos with family, gifts does matter, money transfers. Photos says a lot. The officers actually have their minds made up before the interviews, so yu have to tell a love story about who yu and your fiancé’ are. When they see your file, they need to see the love. Also, make sure ya’ll social media’s have photos as well.
