Did anyone start the ds160 form before their case left nvc? And if so how can we start it if it’s possible.?

we went thru a lawyer and wants to wait till it has left nvc but if we can complete it while waiting that would be less stressful

My case is "Ready" but I am waiting from the embassy to send the interview date. DS160 expires after 30 days  and fee is not refundable so if your interview is not within the period have to redo again.

The DS-160 expires 30 days after you start it, but that's before submission. You can start a new one at anytime and I think maybe that time resets once you edit it. Once you submit it, however, it is valid until your information changes. That said, I've seen it recommended to refresh after 60 days if needed or after 6 months. Not sure what the best answer to that is. 60 days seems unnecessary to me if there have been no changes.

Since the *rule* is that the visa has to be issued within 4 months of USCIS approval (of course that timeline has been blown out of the water of late), my guess is this was never really a concern since most people moved from USCIS approved to NVC to embassy within 4 months. I think now that they sometimes have to extend, the advice is not to complete the DS160 in case it takes longer. But I am pretty sure it is valid for much longer than 30 days.

trying to find an interview checklist here on VJ for K1 visa specifically

anyone can post a link here, I will appreciate it sincerely.

Are you looking for just the interview at the embassy checklist, like what to bring and do before?

I have seen such a thing on the pk embassy website but not sure on VJ.  Will keep an eye out…

Yaaaaaaas

Do ds160 check recheck re re recheck

Submit

Then go to us travel docs and fill that out check recheck and recheck and submit

Select the interview date

Pay the visa fee

Select the medical schedule

And you are gold

Thank you, we rechecked many times, for DS160. So many secret steps to scheduling but very nice to do it all online, except for that cash fee 😅

Still selecting dates. But I can’t believe it actually went from NVC received to ready in a week!!!

Ahh okay, that makes sense. I was getting confused for myself.

Since 2020, was such a difficult year adding 2019, might paint a stronger overall picture for the tax returns.

hello guys, i have a question. My fiancee sent me the receipt of the 2020 taxi return and bank account transactions, but I wonder if the taxi return is only 1 year enough, so is it necessary in 2019?

I just noticed that on the Pakistan embassy site, it actually asks for 3 years of tax returns, no specification of whether self-employed or not. I would recommend that you check your embassy's instructions for the I-134 supporting documents.

Pakistan büyükelçiliği sitesinde aslında 3 yıllık vergi beyannamesi istediğini fark ettim, serbest meslek sahibi olup olmadığına dair hiçbir belirtim yok. I-134 destekleyici belgeler için elçiliğinizin talimatlarını kontrol etmenizi tavsiye ederim.

thank you very much i will try
