I waited 21 days from NOA2 to call because I knew it would take at least 2 weeks and the hold times would annoy me! So on day 21 I called and got my info. Might it have been available a couple of days before that? Maybe, but really until you see it in transit there isn't much to do (unless you need to transfer to a different embassy). I have not yet received an email from them but assume I will when it is in transit.

Advice on calling: If you don't hear a "ring" but get a whole lot of talking that ends in them saying they have too many calls, just hang up and dial again. Don't listen to the whole spiel again, just hang up and redial. I did that about 8x maybe until I heard a ring and then got the menu of choices (I chose 7 but I think you can do 2, 5, or 7) and then I was on hold for nearly an hour.

Same! I got the NOA2 on september 20th (then on the letter it said that it was approved on the 18th). I then waited 22 days (I came back from a trip on October 11th, called on the 12th) and they had the case number. All went smooth, I waited around 38 minutes and then talked to a kind lady who was very polite and nice. Now waiting for the next shipment date, crossing my fingers hard.

Well I am certainly not a lawyer 😅, I just know that I can access this website without a case number and it feels good to fill this out while I am waiting. 😄  https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/

Hi

https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/
After clicking this link the link to DS-160 should be first at the top.

Create username and save the ID they create.

As soon as you start, SAVE, this is the most finicky thing I have ever used. I fill out one page at a time and then save before continuing to the next page.

Good Luck 🤗

Selam

When do we need to create the ds 160 form?

Did I receive your welcome letter ? Because I tried getting in and it wouldn’t allow. After researching it showed me the first step is to receive the welcome letter before being able to fill out the affidavit of support
