An Update…

NOA2 09/30

Called NVC at this number for non-immigrant visas : (603) 334-0888

48 min wait

called at 2:57pm MDT

They said they haven’t received my petition from USCIS yet.

I plan to check-in again later this week.

Anyone know the schedule for USCIS TO NVC? Then, it is the embassy to request from NVC

TIA 🙏🏾

What I saw is next shipment is on 26th and 27th

Islamabad embassy is current with no backlogs, so if we get our NVC case number even a few days before that we should be next

I got my NOA 2 on 8th of sep and I am still waiting for my case number at NVC

  • Jan 26, 2021 = NOA 1 for I-129F (K1 Visa application)
  • Sep 8, 2021 = NOA 2 for I-129F (K1 Visa application)

No one knows the schedule for USCIS to NVC.. It can take up to 90 days for USCIS to send your petition to NVC.  Like most people, they call weekly until NVC provides the case #. Yes, embassy request the K1 petitions from NVC. The shipment dates from NVC to Embassy has been posted in this thread.

The shipment dates you are referring to are from NVC to Embassy. Noone has come up with a USCIS to NVC shipment dates b/c they are all over the place. It can take up to 90 days before USCIS sends your petition to NVC.

I called NVC yesterday they informed me my case would take a few days to weeks to generate , they were working on cases received October 6. Our case was received October 14.
I still call everyday and today was told we have a case number and invoice id 😍

advice is to call everyday wait times has always been 1 hour to 1.5 hours.

Can anyone share what the next step is after receiving our case number and invoice id ?

More waiting. Once your case is "in transit" you should start gathering documents and wait until is "ready". After that your embassy should send you an email saying they've received it and you can go ahead and fill out DS-160, appointment and medical exam.

Congrats... your case has wheels 🏍 🛵

Apparently my case got to the NVC on 14th of Oct (just got off the phone with them) but they still haven't created a case number or anything. Mysteries of US immigration system 💯

Awesome!!! Got to love that 45 to an hour wait.

I hope since your NOA2 was 2 days before mine, I will get a case number in the next few days! Thanks for posting, it is super helpful!

Only thing to do now is call everyday! ;)

I would review the document that is linked into the first post of this forum. It should have steps there of what to do next and you can download it to make it easier.

I believe you can begin the DS-160 form and save a copy of it while you wait for the other pieces of information on the CEAC website. Also, the Affidavit of Support could be completed now as you wait.

We have been reviewing which documents my fiancé needs to bring to the interview and I am glad we did that because it has been taking him a few days to collect those items and make copies of originals. (Items that don't have a short validity period. Our embassy doesn't have a backlog so it seems logical to do that.)

Good luck!!

Can we provide copies of these documents?
