So anyone lucky yet?

Case was approved on 8th of September, contacted them today and they say the case is still not in their system.

Also, managed to get in touch with the embassy they said they have no backlog either so basically as soon as NVC creates the file it can be at the embassy straight away or in a few days.

Now if I do not get a case number tomorrow I think I'll be stuck for the next shipment date.

Anyone who was approved between 7th and 12th of September have their rcvd their case numbers from NVC?

It took almost a month I think to get my case number. I was approved Sept.10, called and got number oct. 4 and an email oct. 11th You can look at my timeline. I got an email Monday stating that I have a case number. Tuesday I logged in to CEAC to check case, case status updated to in transit. My case is going to Santo Domingo.

Dava numaramı alma başlangıçta bir ay sürdü. 10 Eylül'de onaylandım, arandım ve Ekim'de numaramı aldım. 4 ve bir e-posta Ekim. 11. Zaman tünelime bakabilirsin. Pazartesi günü bir vaka numaram olduğunu belirten bir e-posta aldım. Salı Vakayı kontrol etmek için CEAC'a giriş yaptım, vaka durumu transit olarak güncellendi. Benim davam Santo Domingo'ya gidiyor.

I still haven't received my case number. 33 days have passed, I called yesterday, but they said there was still no progress.

Have your partner reach out to their state representative to help push your case along. I don't know if it helped me, but after I did that last week. My case is now in transit.

What does state representative mean?

a person elected by a state to be a member of the House of Representatives. Or a senator. Either of these people in the elected positions can help. They are a part of the government and can help with visa cases. Your partner should know what I mean if you're still unsure.

I didn't email NVC. I emailed my state representative for help. I called the NVC  the number can be found in two other previous posts. Just one page before this one. I called the 603-334...number and yes I did sit on hold upwards of 2.5 hours. I'm in Pacific time and I was able to get through between 10am-1130am time frame. You could try first thing in the morning or later in the evening right before they close. I've heard those are the best times to call.

I will try again. When I call they hang up saying their customer service is busy try again later

So I called NVC was able to get hold of them after almost 2hrs I was told the reason why they have not sent my NVC case number is because for k1 visa they don’t send welcome letter they will only email you your case number once your case is ready to be sent to the embassy. So we have to wait till it’s ready for the embassy then you get case number along with invoice id number and directions.
