Visajourney's processing times page is showing that the Texas service center is currently processing I-129f's from mid-August of last year. Am I misunderstanding the chart or something? That would imply us September filers are imminent, right?

I was under the impression that all I-129f's went through the California Service Center, so I looked it up just now. According to the chart the CSC does 129f's K1, K2, K3 and K4 and the Texas Service Center only does I-129f's K3 and K4.

But when I sent my K1 129f, I sent it to Dallas. I assumed that meant the Texas Service Center. Am I misunderstanding?

Contrary to Ontarkie's stubborn insistence, this question is neither a duplicate nor in the wrong forum. The thread to which that question was wrongly merged asked when it's best to file AOS. The second question, the one linked, asks about whether/who to notify about moving. It was posted in the K1 forum, which is where it belongs. It doesn't belong in the K1 AOS forum because it doesn't ask anything about AOS.

Reality does not change by silencing those who reveal it.

I can't answer that question with any authority, we are using an immigration attorney so he handled all of that.

But I did find this, maybe it will give a better idea of what happens after you send in your petition. Sounds like the Texas location is just the first step, then it gets sent to California.

Dallas is where the lockbox is, not the actual service centre. So they go from the lockbox to the CSC. They’re all handled by the CSC.

Why don’t they just send some elsewhere to ease the load on the CSC?? That’s what I don’t get.

You are. Thats a lockbox, not a service center.

you can look at this website which is very clear as to where k1 goes to process.

Hello, I have recently moved and i am waiting for my noa2 k1 visa. When I go to USCIS website to change address, it does not list the country United States under country of citizenship. I am a US citizen and I am the petitioner also. Why is that? Why is United States not mentioned?
