SEPTEMBER 2021 K1 FILERS I-129F

Just sent my congressman a fresh letter.

I was previously told that on Dec 5 I could submit an "outside processing times" request.

Well. Hard to do it now they AGAIN moved the goalposts to 15 then 15.5 months.

What? We are to wait, have the shining, golden treasure right there and then be snatched away? That's wrong.

Hopefully he can step in this time, since we followed the exact suggestion of the USCIS and were unable to.

Also mentioned the dismay that Oct is being processed actively while Sept rots.

Does it feel like they are leaving the "expedite denied" at the end of the line? My group is 137000 and there are 7 that are still waiting. It seems that this group has the least approvals too.

It seems so cruel to leave those in bad situations for last, no we don't think we are special but to leave us for last is just wrong. 😭

Finally got the NOA2! 😄

Just in case I'm misunderstanding, there's nothing that needs to be done until the beneficiary receives a bunch of forms from the embassy, right? And will take three months or so, right?

Contrary to Ontarkie's stubborn insistence, this question is neither a duplicate nor in the wrong forum. The thread to which that question was wrongly merged asked when it's best to file AOS. The second question, the one linked, asks about whether/who to notify about moving. It was posted in the K1 forum, which is where it belongs. It doesn't belong in the K1 AOS forum because it doesn't ask anything about AOS.

But now they have already went to approve the October filers, really sad, frustrating to see that they are leaving behind the Septembers, i know the same thing happened for the August guys when it was almost 1000+ cases for August they started approving for September, it's really unfair 😫

The approval range seems to be up to 3 months wide.

It's as if each officer is given a set of cases to work on, and they do until finished, then they come get new ones. So, someone with a brand-new stack may be doing October ones while their colleague finishing the bottom of their old stack is still in August. + PTO, training levels, etc.

Ratio of "Case Was Received" and "Expedite Request Denied" seems to be the same prior to the first approval wave for a given month and beyond it.
