CEAC Update

Hi all,

I have a question: Our K1 visa was refused on 3-August-2021. We had to turn in a few missing documents with my fiancé's passport. Today, we discovered that the date was updated to 30-August-2021. However, the status still says "Refused." What does the date change signify, if anything? Thank you for all your help and advice.

It just means someone “touched” your file; maybe looked up some info or added the documents you submitted etc.

So it's neither a good nor a bad sign; it's neutral. Well, it does at least mean it's not just sitting at the bottom of a pile on a desk, I suppose. Good thoughts.

it is not refused but going thru administration process meaning checking documents and extra security checks by embassy

good notice is they asked for the passport

so,  keep eye on CEAC and pray  for "issued"
