I-751 September 2021 Filers

I finally got scheduled for the N-400 interview in June. My field office is Columbus OH. However, there has been no update on my I-751. Only case received on the website but I received receipt and biometric waiver. Although I will prepare for the combo interview, should I call USCIS asking if my i-751 has been transferred? I really don't want to be in the nightmare situation: pass N-400 but have to wait for I-751

 Thanks!

You can, no guarantees that would change anything. Have you included I-751 receipt with your N-400 submission?

You mean in the Evidence section? Silly me didn't :(. Can I still add it to my online application now?

It wouldn't hurt I guess.

Yes, you could have uploaded this into evidence section along with a letter asking for a combo interview due to pending I-751. It also doesn't always guarantee USCIS will honor it.

Wait I've never heard about asking for a combo interview! That's interesting! Sorry for my ignorance, is there a template for that letter? Thanks!

I passed my N400 interview today but a decision could not be made because my I-751 which I filed September 2021 is still pending. Anyone else have this happen and if so how long did it take?

hi OldUser,  thanks for the advice.. I uploaded the request letter to the portal. I also checked with an Emma live agent. Well, not a nice one but she told me my I-751 is at NBC now. Does that it will be on the way to the FO for my N-400 interview? Hope it will reach there before the day? Thanks!!

When my husband had his N-400 interview, we didn't know where his I-751 was - whether it had arrived at the local field office or not. On the day of his interview, the IO was looking at it on the computer and approved both applications on the spot. Anything can happen, so be sure to bring your spouse along with you. Good luck!

* Interview was on June 09 2023 @10:30 AM - officer called me at 10:28 AM questions were pretty easy and straight forward ... Officer said that we submitted so much of joint bona fide marriage evidence. and he didn't want to see anymore new docs I brought with me.he said what I see on screen is more than enough. Officer surprised my English was excellent for being in the US just few years. asked me if I studied English in my born country. Also officer surprised I have zero citations or traffic ticket ... Officer said 'Wow! you deserve to be American that what America about - I recommended your application for approval - Congratulation! wait to receive your Oath letter in the mail you will get it in the next 30 days!
