I understand your point and painfully have to agree with it, but with an expired GC it can be difficult to start a new job, apply for a DL, mortgage, loan, open a bank account...There is zero reason to take this much time to adjudicate I-751s. We just need USCIS to do what they are supposed to do, which is actually work. The problem is that the USCIS backlog does not make it to the media because yes, there are other pressing issues going on and not everyone is married to a foreigner.

There is zero reason to take this much time to adjudicate I-751s---there are a few million reasons for the delay. About 9.5

I am a Feb 2022 filer and received an extension of 18 months on my original expired GC. I am MSC and can see MSC takes a long time.

Are there any of you September MSC filers still waiting for your interview? Have you had another letter extending your GC or are you still within your timeline?

Would really appreciate any responses! Thank you.

I think we're all still waiting, and hoping our interviews are waived. Our extension letters were for 24 months.

Your timeline says you are a Feb 2021 filer. You should have received your updated 24 month extension letter. I'm pretty sure we all received the 24 month extension letters with our original NOA 1 as Sept 21 filers.

Finally done...

Yes. We got our 24 month letters, and anyone before us who got 18 month extensions got those upgraded to 24 months.

So I had my " document" returned to USCIS in April and I submitted a request to have it sent back out and I just got an update that my card is being produced today. I didn't have an interview or anything.

Oh, wow!!! Congratulations!

Thanks for the update.  My wife's ROC has Sept 2021 filing date (also WAC), about a few weeks after yours.

Out of curiosity did you happen to check the status of your case occasionally with USCIS?

https://myaccount.uscis.gov/

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/logon.do

I only ask because the status on ours has not changed since the receipt of our case which was on Oct. 5. We also had a biometrics appointment on 12/3 and that was never reflected as an update on our status page (At least we have the stamp on the biometrics letter that shows we came in for the appointment for proof). We've checked both sites and both have the same information to this date.....the receipt date of 10/5 and that's it. We have an SRC case number so it is under the Texas Service Center.

I'm just wondering if your status ever reflected any changes such as the biometrics or anything else outside of the initial receipt date.

Thanks!

You may want to check your status here:

For some reasons the other two sites do not always update.  I think this is the best place to check.  Good luck.
