Morning guys, anyone traveled locally with an extension letter? I am aware a driver's license or any government type of ID is the only thing that you present while checking in at the airport. I have done that last December but I just wanted to make sure again because I'm traveling from Georgia to Florida for work and don't want to mess it up and not be questioned as to why my license has "limited-term" mark in front.

Should be no issue at all, you could use your passport for ID to travel as well that will always work for travel ID.

Ours updated, on both sites, on October 5 to show that they're reusing my husbands fingerprints. Don't worry about those websites. They don't always update. You have the letters and that's what counts.

Hi,

I m a September filer too. My biometrics were reused and i have the 24 months GC extension since last year.

If i need to travel home to EU, this summer, do i still need a stamp in the passport ? Just for precaution i would get it...but is it mandatory?

If i do need to stamp, what number should i call and what should i ask for?

Thank you!

It seems that the LIN center would not process our applications any time soon...

I see, but then why do people want to take it ? Do they miss the 12//24 months extension ?

Up until a few months ago, they were giving 18 month extension, so that’s why people wanted them.

You already have an unexpired 24 months extension. You do not need stamp and if you call USCIS, they will simply tell you that you do not qualify to get it. Once your 24 months extension expires and if your ROC has not been finalized, then you can call and request a stamp, assuming you need it for travel/work or getting driver license.
