Oh Lord. Who has a lawyer helping them with their removal of conditions? I just came across this TikTok video of an immigration lawyer and I don't like what I watched. Comments please?

I have seen this same advice a few times on Facebook groups. My understanding is that lawyers are claiming that filling for citizenship will make both processes take longer.  On the other hand, I’ve seen people in states with less inhabits being approved for citizenship in  just 2-3 months after filling with a pending ROC.

I personally don’t know the answer BUT if I do know something is that USCIS seems to

process cases with no rhyme or reason at times 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hence SRC filers from 2019 still waiting to be approved.

I have a Lawyer helping me with my 751 but we haven’t discussed the N-400. I plan to apply but I’ll discuss with him when the time comes closer with eligibility. Just waiting now but I’ve seen instances where applying for citizenship worked out better than waiting for the 751 to be approved. Especially if Potomac is your service center.

Hey girl! I hope you're doing well 💗

Just got worried with that advise, that's why I posted here hoping to find someone like us with a lawyer advising the same thing or not.

Thank you. Any information that has been vetted would be helpful!

When are you filing for N-400? Mine should be last week of August.

I think his add little mis- interpreted . If you look in the bottom his hashtag saying OK to file ?!
Reading his add in the top it seems he is talking about the EXTENSION letter ?? I guess he is trying to say Don’t file for the U.S. citizenship till you get the ROC Extension letter ..

he put it  out in witty way ( replacing the word LETTER by the word GREEN CARD ) to make you worried so you hire him ( seems to me new lawyer trying to get as much as clients can get )

I highlighted his add here look it up and tell me what you think ??!

My wife will be filing her N-400 in middle of September, regardless whether I-751 is approved or not by that time.  We just want to get past dealing with USCIS!!

My husband will be doing that, too. It will be so good to be done with all of this!

My wife will file too. Our local office (Tampa) worked swiftly with her AOS. Delaying the N-400 until after the ROC is complete could mean higher fees and/or changes in the process to make it more complicated.

09/15/21 Filed I-751 package

09/16/21 Package received at USCIS lockbox

09/18/21 Fees charged to credit card. Case number assigned

09/23/21 I-797 Extension received (24 months)

10/25/21 Received Biometrics Waiver Letter (Dated 10/21/21)

12/28/22  Case Transferred To Another Office

01/12/23 Case Approved

09/16/22 Filed N400 online

09/23/2022 NOA and Biometrics letters received

01/11/2023 Interview (combo N400/I751)

01/11/2023 Naturalization was Approved

01/12/2023 Oath Ceremony. Certificate of Naturalization was issued

Morning guys, anyone traveled locally with an extension letter? I am aware a driver's license or any government type of ID is the only thing that you present while checking in at the airport. I have done that last December but I just wanted to make sure again because I'm traveling from Georgia to Florida for work and don't want to mess it up and not be questioned as to why my license has "limited-term" mark in front.

Locally, I never had any issues. Just used my drivers license. Once it’s a legitimate government ID, you’ll be fine once it’s up to date. I got my license renewed as soon as I got my extension letter. I also travelled internationally last month with my expired GC and Extension letter, no issues there either.
